To mark the continued countdown to get this gigantic Tuttle shell off...a little story to follow on how adaptive Natalie has become...
She has now figured out how to flip herself over in her cast. It was like watching her flip on her tummy or back when she was an infant so many months ago. I got so giddy...an amazed!!! This little chick doesn't let anything stop her! I would post a video but so far she is too fast when I try to grab my phone.
Here's to 4 more weeks!!! :)

7 weeks and a new pair of shoes...errr...cast
It's officially 7 weeks! We are headed to the hospital to get a new and improved cast. Nat has all but worn her hot pink one out. Out with the old and in with the new! Hot red cast in t-minus 2 hours. Pictures to come.
Oh and she isn't mad about going somewhere in this photo. She is ticked because he can't push the photo button...go figure.

6 weeks and a swollen foot
Well happy 6 weeks! To celebrate, we spent an hour or so at Urgent Care because Natalie's little foot was crazy swollen...from a bug bite! At least that's what the doctor thought so we are just keeping a close eye on it for now. This child is going to put me in an early grave!

Honey Boo Boo loves the water!
For a kid that loves water, this spica cast is really getting in the way of some serious water time. So...we have created our own little "water world" within the sink...and anything in reach that can be wet. Natalie is such a trooper. She knows she can't get all the way in and is content just playing in the water with her hands. This is also a great sneak attack of washing her hair! I love that an empty cup and spoon and some water from the faucet can keep a 14 month old so occupied for so long.
